About Great Botanicals
Great Botanicals started at home trying to solve a real problem for someone we love.
What began as an attempt to help with hair thinning turned into something much bigger. We quickly realized how much noise there is in the hair care space. There are a lot of products with ingredients that sound right, but aren’t used with intention. There are also a lot of superficial opinions on the right way to treat our hair.
So we went deeper.
We studied research. We tested formulations. We paid attention to what made a difference and what didn’t. What came out of that process was not a miracle solution, but something we believe in. It is a simple, thoughtful formula built around ingredients that have been studied and used successfully.
Our Approach
Every product we create is guided by a few core principles:
Be intentional with ingredients
Each oil in our formula serves a purpose. No fillers. No unnecessary additions. Just components chosen for how they support the scalp and hair environment.
Follow the research, but stay honest
There is promising research behind ingredients like rosemary oil and its role in supporting scalp health and mechanisms associated with hair growth. But we’re careful about how we talk about it. Results vary, and no product works the same for everyone.

Why Rosemary?
Rosemary oil has gained attention for good reason. Some studies suggest it may support hair growth in ways comparable to common medicinal treatments, and it may help support processes linked to DHT.
We try to maximize its effectiveness by using a controlled dilution alongside carrier oils like jojoba, castor, and coconut MCT to support both scalp and hair without overwhelming it.
It is a natural path to a goal so many are trying to achieve and works well alongside other treatments.
